First public meeting of the CastaCorse project

The chestnut groves of Corsica: Anthropology, Ecology and History

The Conservatoire Botanique National de Corse is pleased to present the first meeting of the “CastaCorse” project.
This project, funded by the Collectivité de Corse, is launching an innovative island-wide study of chestnut groves.
This first meeting will present the methods and objectives to the chestnut growers*, associations and institutions concerned, and will provide an opportunity for discussions with the research team.

(* chestnut growers from all parts of the island are strongly invited to take part in this presentation).

The meeting will be chaired by Doria Bellache, doctoral student at the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle,
with Vincent Battesti (CNRS), Denis Jouffroy (Università di Corsica) & Franck Richard (Université de Montpellier).
