Since March 2015

Position of Visiting Scholar for two semesters at Columbia University, with the Department of Anthropology (New York, Morningside Campus), one of the very first department dedicated to Anthropology in the USA, founded by Franz Boas on the eve of the 20^th Century.

I especially dedicate there my time to write a book on Siwa Oasis in Egypt, and to work on the issues of an anthropology of sound environments.
