Best Scientific Research Prize 2023 from the NCPD

The project al-‘Ulā DPA received in Riyadh the “Best Scientific Paper” award of the NCPD International Prize from the National Center for Palms and Dates (NCPD), recognizing the work of the al-ʿUlā DPA team on the barnī date palms of al-ʿUlā.

Muriel Gros-Balthazard accepted the award on behalf of the project at the International Date Conference, presented by the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli, and the director of the NCPD, Dr. Mohammed Alnuwairan, in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) in December 2023.
